Revive is For Sale!

 At the end of 2024 my lease for the building expires and the building will be sold.  I've decided to let my customers know now so if there is any interest in purchasing the shop you are the first to hear about it.  There are a couple possible ways this can work out.  If you are interested in purchasing the building and the business I can put you directly in touch with my landlady to discuss the building.  If you are interested in the business but not the building we can begin the process for you to find a new location to move the business.  I would be available to help you move, set up and get up and running.  Revive has been a favorite Ashland business for locals and visitors for 13 years and I would love to see it continue.  It's yours for $50K!

Spring in Ashland

If you've ever experienced a spring in Ashland you would find yourself in one of the most beautiful places on earth.  The green rolling hills across the valley turning purple when the Vetch blooms. The sounds of the full creek flowing down through the watershed.  The smells of the flowers and trees blooming throughout town.  It's a beautiful thing to experience!

 Wintering in February

My favorite new word of the day is 'wintering'.  It was coined by Katherine May, a UK book author of fiction and memoirs, who explores the restorative power of rest and slowing down whether dealing with a life crisis, grief or the beautiful winter season itself.  Her memoir, 'Withering', (4.4/5 w/6377 reviews) could be a perfect book to curl up with as we move through these next couple of weeks of winter. It came out in 2020 so you can probably pick up a copy at a used book store near you.

Ashland is quiet and it seems like everyone in town is settled in for the winter. We escaped the bitter freeze much of the US experience due to a disruption in the polar vortex this past week.  It's grey and rainy today and, like any day, I appreciate everyone who ventures out to visit me at the shop.  

Here's a peek at some the latest cool new pieces that recently came in.  My two favorites are the Victorian Piano Stool w/ Glass Clawfoot feet and the pair of MCM Pink Tufted Barrel/Tub Chairs on casters with original upholstery.
